Chronology of cameras Zeiss Ikon

Curiously, this version of the Ikoflex, which appeared in 1938, was first called Ikoflex III and then downgraded to Ikoflex II.

This model is characterized by the fact that the two lenses are arranged on an oblong-shaped plate. The speed and the aperture are each adjusted by one of the small levers visible at the bottom and on the sides of the plate. Their values are visible in two small windows located above the viewing lens.

Focusing is no longer done by operating a side lever, but by turning a button. The control of the focus on the frosted glass can be fine-tuned by the use of a magnifying glass.

This Triotar / Compur variant is called Kc.
